A&L Canada Laboratories
The Quality Management System of A&L Canada Laboratories Inc. and certain tests are accredited to ISO 17025:2017 by CALA. Assessments are conducted every 2 years by personnel meeting CALA requirements . Participation in performance evaluation tests is mandatory for this program, and distinction is granted based on results submitted. Learn More
This program included a site inspection, and participation in North American wide performance testing. The samples are administered by The North American Proficiency Testing Program quarterly. Results are submitted to NAPT and OMAFRA for evaluation.

This program is administered by US Composting Council, and results are compared to laboratories throughout North America.
This program is used to compare Phosphate results with laboratories throughout North America.A&L participates in Inter-Laboratory Check sample programs. This a monthly round robin program that consists of soil, plant, and water samples. It is used to monitor in house procedures and is used as an internal audit.
This certification program is used for proficiency of various types of forage testing. Samples are received 6 times a year and graded based on results submitted. Certification is issued based on association recommendation.
This program is used for proficiency of various types of manure testing. Samples are received 4 times a year and graded based on results submitted. Proficiency of participation is issued based on compliance of participation.

Woods End Laboratories is NAPT-PAP Program Certified
The Performance Assessment Program (PAP) is a voluntary program offered as a service of the Soil Science Society of America (SSSA), Madison, WI, and operated as a part of the North American Proficiency Testing program (NAPT), and is administered by the NAPT Oversight Committee. While the PAP program is offered as a voluntary service to all soil testing laboratories, this program has been adopted by the NRCS as assurance that soil test analyses are being performed using validated testing methods. The PAP program is required by the USDA-NRCS for soil analysis laboratories analyzing soils for federal government programs involved with the development of nutrient management plans in certain Western US states.
